Test World Advisory Committee

A high-level advisory committee has been established for Test World. The advisory committee provides strategic support to management by discussing and evaluating the future business perspectives.

Esko Kiesi, chairman

Esko Kiesi has been working since 2010 as an independent consultant, primarily to the car industry. His company, eTraffic Oy, is in the process of launching in Finland the largest new generation car shop concept in Europe. As an entrepeneur, Esko is also actively involved in projects related to the future of electric transport. He started his career with Veho Organisation in 1977, developing aftersales operations, organisations and IT-Systems for BMW and Mercedes-Benz. After moving to work with Audi and Volkswagen in 1986, Esko then held several executive positions in aftersales, marketing and car sales. Under his command, Audi’s market share grew from 0.5% to 5.0% in Finland. His main strengths are brand building and motivating a team. Esko holds an M.Sc (Engineering).

Juha Tukiainen, member

Juha Tukiainen is a partner at MB Funds, a Finnish private equity investor. Prior to this, he had a long career at A-Katsastus Group, a leading European technical vehicle inspection company, where he was responsible for corporate strategy, business development and international expansion. During his final five years with the company, he was Group CEO. He has strong experience in leading service businesses and expanding them into international markets. Since 2009 Juha has also been a Member of the Bureau Permanent of CITA, the International Motor Vehicle Inspection Committee. Juha has significant experience in the vehicle and tyre testing sector and acted as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Test World from 2006 to 2010. Juha holds an LL.M.

Maarit Tiililä, member

Maarit Tiililä is an executive coach with her own company, Heart&Spirit Consulting Oy Ltd. Maarit’s enthusiasm and passion for executive coaching is based on her extensive experience gained working in executive management teams over ten years. She has had a unique opportunity to develop leadership cultures both in Finnish and American public companies as well as in companies owned by state and private equity investors. Before launching her own business, Maarit worked at Moventas Oy as VP Human Resources, at Altia Corporation as SVP Human Resources, at GE Healthcare as HR Director and at Datex-Ohmeda (Instrumentarium Oyj) as HR Manager. Maarit holds an M.Sc (Econ).
